Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, alias "Crown of the Sea", formerly known as Shanghai Water Sports Center, is located in the front beach of Yaolong Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. It is a comprehensive stadium mainly composed of water sports. It consists of a main stadium of 15,000 people, a swimming pool of 5,000 people and an outdoor diving pool of 5,000 people, with a total investment of about 2 billion yuan, which was completed by the end of 2010.

Shanghai Oriental Sports Center is located in the east of Huangpu River, south of Sichuan Yanghe River, west of Jiyang Road and north of Planning Road. The venue is located near the transfer hub of Oriental Sports Center Station of Rail Transit Line 6, Line 8 and Line 11.

Shanghai Oriental Sports Center is close to the Expo Park. It is located in an advantageous location in the southern extension of Huangpu River in Pudong. It includes comprehensive gymnasium, swimming pool, outdoor diving pool, news center, parking lot and bus stop. The total area of the project is 347,500 square meters.
