Hangzhou Jianggan Sports Center is located at No. 12 Qianchao Road, Hangzhou City. It is located on the east of Qianchao Road and on the west of Qingchun East Road. It is an important part of implementing the strategy of "expanding the city to the east" and building Qianjiang New Town as well as one of the key provincial and municipal projects. The total building area of the Cultural and Sports Center is 240,000 square meters, including Jianggan District National Fitness Center, 14,000 stadiums, tennis center and so on.

Jianggan Sports Center Phase I Project - Jianggan District National Fitness Activity Center is the first demonstration project supported by China's sports lottery, and is a large-scale comprehensive public sports facility in Jianggan District. The center is equipped with physical fitness monitoring, swimming, badminton, table tennis, martial arts, squash, fitness equipment, gymnastics, hotels, leisure centers and other items. It was officially opened to the public on July 8, 2005 to provide fitness, leisure, catering "one-stop" service for fitness crowd. Jianggan District National Fitness Activity Center is a place for mass fitness activities, a platform for amateur sports training for teenagers and children, a base for holding sports competitions at all levels, and a window for foreign sports and cultural exchanges.

Jianggan District National Fitness Center has a total floor area of 24,000 square meters and a building height of 31.9 meters. Three floors above ground, a total of 18345 square meters; one floor below ground, a total of 5630 square meters. On the first floor, there are 200 square meters of business center, 3200 square meters of hotel and leisure center, and 300 square meters of national physical fitness monitoring center. On the second floor, there are 960 square meters of equipment gymnasium, 190 square meters of squash room, 320 square meters of table tennis hall, 840 square meters of martial arts hall, 300 square meters of billiards room and 840 square meters of gymnasium. There are swimming pool 3040 square meters and badminton hall (basketball hall) 2020 square meters on the third floor. There are large parking lots and underground parking lots in the central plaza. The parking spaces are spacious and free.

The second phase of Jianggan Sports Center will be planned to build 10,000 stadiums with fixed stands, 4 plastic tennis courts and 2,500 square meters of tennis courts. The total land area of the project is 53752 square meters, the total building area is about 30,000 square meters and the total investment is about 100 million. The project has been fully started at the end of December 2006 and will be completed and put into use before the 2008 Olympic Games. After the completion of the second phase of the project, more people will be attracted to participate in the national fitness activities to provide a broader sports service platform for the community.
